Religious Education in English

Religious Education in English is available for youth in pre-K (age 4) through high school.  Through developmentally appropriate materials, youth learn about God, His Church, and His loving plan of salvation.

Classes are from 10:15-11:30 on Sundays and run from August through May following the Huntsville City school calendar.  Please see here for the 2026-2027 religious education calendar.

Religious Education in Spanish

Religious Education in Spanish is available for youth in Kindergarten through 8th grade.  Through developmentally appropriate materials, youth learn about God, His Church, and His loving plan of salvation.

Educación Religiosa en Español

La Educación Religiosa en Español está disponible para niños y jóvenes desde Kindergarten hasta 8.º grado. A través de materiales apropiados para su nivel de desarrollo, los estudiantes aprenden acerca de Dios, Su Iglesia y Su amoroso plan de salvación.

Horario de clases

Las clases se llevan a cabo los domingos de 12:00 p.m. a 1:30 p.m. y se ofrecen de agosto a mayo, siguiendo el calendario escolar de las Escuelas de la Ciudad de Huntsville.

Order of Christian Initiation for Adults, adapted for Children (Our Lady of Guadalupe’s Garden)

"Jesus said, 'Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them; for to such belongs the kingdom of Heaven.'" (Matthew 19:14). In following the words of Our Lord, the Church welcomes and serves all children.

OCIA adapted for Children, under the title Guadalupe's Garden, is appropriate for children ages 7 to 16 who are either unbaptized or who were baptized in a Trinitarian form outside the Church.  This special program prepares a child for their sacraments of initiation (Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist), celebrated at the Easter Vigil Mass.
